Basic Job Functions:
The Talent and Development Specialist will assist in the creation and execution of talent management programs that reflect our company values, boost employee engagement, and enhance performance to achieve business goals. These programs encompass performance management, talent SWOT and action planning, succession planning, career development, training, and other strategic initiatives. The specialist will support the implementation and evaluation of these talent programs, collaborate with the talent team, HR business partners, and business leaders to develop and communicate these initiatives, and serve as a point of contact for talent management technologies.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; degree in related area such as HR, Education, Analytics, Business is preferred. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources; preferably in a global organization Experience in reporting, analytics, and HR initiatives is preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel-advanced, and PowerPointRequired Skills/Competencies:
Ability to gather information, analyze, articulate, and visualize to facilitate problem solving Attention to detail; demonstrate consistent follow-through on tasks Effective oral and written communication skills with key stakeholders Organizational skills Comfortable working in an environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving Demonstrated experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and managing activities to meet multiple competing deadlines Ability to deliver training on Talent Management processes through a variety of mediums to associates Ability to effectively think globally as well as regularly employ integrative and solution-oriented thinking Excellent analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel Continuous learning and problem-solving mindsetEssential Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for talent management processes, including performance reviews and succession planning Help organize workshops, seminars, and other development activities Serve as a point of contact to the business for talent management programs and technology Contribute to process and system enhancements; drive for self-service, automation, efficiencies, and insightful reporting; develop test plans and execute testing Committed to creating & searching for new and innovative approaches to activities that enhance performance Maintain relevant intranet sites and training deliverables; keep content fresh and accurate Create communication plans; draft messages; contribute to organizational communications and platforms, HR Partner updates, manager/associate emails Actively research industry trends and benchmark successful programs All other duties as assigned Job description subject to change at any timeReporting Relationships:
