Talent Management Executive
**Overview**
Our Talent Management team is central to the development of our colleagues, and we’re delighted that an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Management Practitioner for Asia. You’ll have the opportunity to actively participate in a variety of projects across our nine countries of focus in Asia, with responsibility for executing the Group Talent Management initiatives across Asia. You will also be compiling and evaluating data to make recommendations for future training requirements. You will work across the business to provide learning solutions of all kinds. This is a varied role with the opportunity to coordinate and develop Early Careers schemes, deliver training to colleagues in different business areas – including the provision of people leader development initiatives, and help deliver and/or create e-learning material.
**Key Responsibility**
**Training and Development**
- Design and Deliver Training Programs: Support the development and execution of the Group’s Talent Managements comprehensive training programs and tailor these to various business needs. This includes creating and/or engaging e-learning materials, workshops, and seminars to support colleague development. Ensure training content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Assess the impact of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Continuously improve training methods and materials based on evaluation results.
- Compile and Evaluate Data: Gather and analyse data related to employee performance, training needs, and development outcomes. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Make Informed Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations for future training requirements based on data analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data-driven strategies that enhance talent development.
**Induction and Onboarding**
- Enhance and Develop Processes: Develop and implement effective induction and onboarding programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the organization. Deliver Sedgwick’s onboarding materials and activities that reflect the company culture and values.
- Monitor and Improve: Continuously assess the effectiveness of the induction and onboarding process. Gather feedback from new hires and make necessary adjustments to improve the experience.
**Program Coordination**
- Coordinate Pathfinder Programme Events: Plan and manage all aspects of the Pathfinder programme, including scheduling, logistics, and communication. Ensure smooth execution of feedback sessions, assessments, and graduations.
- Engage Participants: Foster a positive and supportive environment for programme participants. Provide guidance and support throughout the programme to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Colleague Resources and various teams to support talent management initiatives. Provide administrative and logistical support as needed.
**Early Careers Schemes**
- Coordinate and Develop Schemes: Deliver optimum solutions for Early Careers programs that align with organizational goals. Ensure Early Careers professionals receive comprehensive training and development opportunities.
- Monitor Progress: Track the progress of trainees and provide regular feedback. Adjust training plans as needed to ensure successful completion of the program.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Communicate Effectively: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. In partnership with the wider Colleague Resources Business Partners, clearly communicate talent management strategies, goals, and progress to ensure alignment and support.
- Analysis: Regularly seek input from stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Use feedback to refine and improve talent management initiatives.
**Project Management**
- Manage Multiple Projects: Oversee various talent management projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Ensure Quality Outcomes: Implement best practices in project management to achieve high-quality results. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
**Change Management**
- Facilitate Organizational Change: Lead and support change management initiatives to drive organizational growth and improvement. Develop change management plans and communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders.
- Support Employees: Provide resources and support to help employees navigate changes. Address concerns and ensure a smooth transition during periods of change.
**Cultural Awareness**
- Promote Diversity and Inclusion: Advocate for a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. Develop and implement initiatives that support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Foster a Positive Culture: Encourage a positive and collaborative work environment. Recognize and celebrate cultural differences and promote mutual respect among colleagues.
**Other Duties**
- Perform other duties related to the function required by the senior management team.
Other duties are an essential part of the role and require the same level of skills, knowledge, and accountability as the main duties.
**Qualifications**
- Ideally bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Human Resources or business-related subject
- Training related qualifications
- Ideally CIPD qualified
- Additional industry qualifications in a related field an advantage
**Skills & Knowledge**
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, such as senior leaders, external partners and the talent markets.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills to inspire and motivate others to embrace change and achieve desired outcomes. This includes coaching, mentoring, advising on all TM related matters.
- Experience in training and working in the loss adjusting or claims management industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the CILA / AICLA professional qualifications framework is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines, manage the demands of numerous tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing multiple tasks and priorities, and ensuring quality within highly professional TM offering
- Experience and ability to operate in a matrix reporting environment as part of a Center of Expertise
- Knowledge and expertise of Workday is beneficial
- Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat and internet research
- Exceptional Excel skills
