Job Summary:
The Talent Management Lead plans and executes Textron’s talent management strategy, processes and programs, including talent reviews, internal talent movement, succession planning, and performance management, to ensure that Textron has the right people in the right role at the right time. The Talent Management Lead ensures that Textron’s talent programs and processes are satisfying the needs of the enterprise, the business units and driving results.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for informing and implementing Textron’s talent management strategy, through partnership with business and enterprise function leaders in the establishment and sustainment of Textron’s talent processesAccountable for conducting internal and external benchmarking and process evaluation to develop and propose recommendations for simplifying and improving Textron’s talent management strategy and processes to meet the needs of the businesses and the enterprise; Create and execute project plans for approved program recommendationsLead the Textron Talent Review process by guiding the Business Units to ensure the necessary information and resources are available for our leaders to engage in robust talent dialogue and to support a succession management cultureAccountable for Textron’s Performance Management Process and the seamless experience for employees, managers, and leadersEnsure consistent talent management information, training, processes, and messaging across all businesses, this includes enterprise training, resources, communication templates, job aids, etc.Responsible for the management of Textron’s performance management and related systems, including system updates, upgrades, improvements, and metrics.Accountable for exemplary customer support and resolution on all talent management issuesEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with BU Talent Management teams to ensure best practice exploration, collaboration and the sharing of information and consistent processes/messaging across all businesses.Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employeesOther duties as assignedTextron is a renowned global multi-industry company with a diverse portfolio spanning aerospace and defense, specialized vehicles, turf care, and fuel systems. Bachelor’s degree in related field5 years’ experience in multi-industry corporations working within Talent Management field for employees at all levelsDemonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationshipsProven project management experience with cross functional and/or cross business projectsTrack record of producing and realizing creative ideas Skilled in data collection and analysisTextron business unit experience desiredSkills/Competencies:
