Job Description

The Performance & Talent Management Specialist Lead executes performance management programs, driving career framework implementation, managing communication and facilitation efforts, and ensuring budget and contract oversight. You will align performance management processes with talent review and career development strategies, reporting to one of our Talent Management Directors and working with the rest of Talent Management members, HRBPs, managers, and important partners to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities:

Performance Management Execution

Modernization Efforts: Collaborate on adopting a new rating system, enhancing systems, and conducting training for managers and employees.Performance Data Tracking: Monitor and enforce accurate documentation of employee goals, ensuring understanding of established processes (e.g., goal system adoption, validation of goal quality).Communication and Training: Develop and implement materials for HRBPs and managers to implement performance management, focusing on communication and training.Performance Tools Integration: Guide the rollout and use of performance tools (e.g., calibration tools, Better Conversations) to integrate them into manager and employee performance practices.

Communication & Facilitation

Communication Strategies: Design and implement communication plans for all phases of the Performance Management cycle (goal setting, feedback, and year-end reviews).Talent Review & Succession Planning: Manage communications to ensure accurate updates on succession planning actions, and talent ratings.Training & Webinars: Facilitate sessions for managers and employees on goal setting, feedback, and performance discussions.New Employee Onboarding: Conduct quarterly webinars to help new hires understand career growth, networking, and mentoring opportunities.

Career Framework Implementation & Execution

Job Family Rollouts: Lead the implementation of Product Development and Product Management job families, ensuring HRBPs and managers participate.Employee Mapping Consistency: Enforce agreement across NA and global frameworks, identifying discrepancies.Career Framework Communications: Ensure HRBPs and employees understand and use career progression tools.Career Resource: Oversee accessibility use of career guidance materials.

Budget & Contract Management

You own PR/PO management, ensuring purchase requests (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) are created and aligned with budget allocations.Analyze monthly spend against budget, identifying anomalies and addressing discrepancies.Oversee vendor and contract management, ensuring contract renewals are tracked, invoices are processed and financial discrepancies are resolved.

Talent Review & Succession Planning Execution

You will oversee the tracking and reporting of Top Talent, ensuring all succession planning documentation and Elevate Talent system updates are current.Strengthen the Talent Rating Validation Process, ensuring agreement between talent ratings and performance data across departments.Perform quarterly talent actions, maintaining consistency across departments and ensuring leaders take appropriate follow-up actions.

Qualifications5+ Years of experience working in Talent Management, Human Resources and related areas.Project Management & Execution experienceExperience developing and delivering training materials, facilitate webinars, and create compelling messages for multiple audiences.Partner Engagement & Collaboration – Ability to work with HRBPs, business leaders, and employees to improve performance and talent programs.Data Analytics – Experience tracking and analyzing performance data, talent ratings, and career progression metrics to inform decision-making.Budget & Contract Management – Understanding of financial processes, including PR/PO management, vendor contracts, and budget tracking.Technology & System Proficiency – Familiarity with performance management tools (e.g., calibration tools, talent review systems) and HR technology platforms.

Additional Information

This is a permanent hybrid role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
