Talent Management & OD Manager

We have an opportunity for a Talent Management & OD Manager to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will report to the Senior Director of Talent, Learning, Culture, and DEI. This position drives Pentair Performance Management, Individual Development and Talent Review processes. This includes providing training, enhancing the capabilities of HR and managers, and ownership for and optimization of, the Workday Talent system. This position provides significant support and direction for our Talent Analytics reporting and capability building. In addition, this role has responsibility for projects and systems related to building our leadership pipelines including Individual Development Planning, Career Development, Assessment processes and Executive Development, with a significant emphasis on our Top Talent and General Management pipeline.

You will:

Manage annual goal setting, performance management, individual and career development including.Partnering with business unit HR teams to facilitate adoption and effective execution of processesContinuously improve employee and manager support materials for processes and technologyManaging rolls out of programs to improve capabilities in talent management and development (for HR, managers, and employees)Manage projects to enhance standard processes, training, tools, and support metrics to influence continuous improvement of process design and use of technology (Workday)Lead annual Talent Review process and quarterly updates with the purpose of developing a robust leadership pipeline including:Partnering with HR teams to facilitate talent review processPartner with Sr. Director of Talent, Learning, Culture, and DEI to develop annual Talent Review presentations for the Executive Leadership TeamLead Top Talent development and tracking processes.Lead internal career development and internal staffing processes and metrics.Lead Talent analytics and score carding process and reporting to provide insight and direction for key Talent and Development initiatives.Support internal staffing and development processes to build our General Management pipeline.Work with Talent Development Led to design and create custom people data reports to capture key HR related insight trends (e.g., attrition, workforce health, succession planning, development, recruiting and workforce planning and utilization).Own the development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that monitor and drive key HR business decisions.Co-lead the company-wide Development Week alongside the Learning and Development leader.Assess information gathered through various platforms in a variety of areas (e.g., development, engagement, career mobility and journeys, onboarding, etc.) to identify trends, assess risk, and partner on proposed interventions to provide insights to optimize Talent Management.

Key Qualifications: 

Master’s Degree in HR, OD or related field, strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a similar field with significant Talent experience considered.5 + years Human Resources experience in roles that included:HR generalist role working with management team.COE experience, preferably leading Talent Management and Development programmingLarge scale project and process leadership and executionExperience in analyzing and presenting data to support decision making required. Use of Talent system required, preferably Workday.Experience working with employees in multiple sites, preferably in multiple countries.Project and Program Management SkillsVerbal/Written Communication and Presentation/ Facilitation SkillsFeedback and Coaching SkillsExperience and training in contemporary Assessment practices preferred.Team effectiveness experience preferred.Ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence across matrix reporting lines & functions.Pentair values-based communication, relationship, and execution abilities.Technical KnowledgeKnowledge of Talent Management to include Performance Management/Development, Talent Review and Succession Planning, Executive Development and Assessment processesMicrosoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Workday or Other Talent Management Applications

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $82300 - $152800/ year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
