Our Team and Your Role
This role in the Talent COE reports directly to the People & Culture (P&C) Director UK/IE in Key Markets and functionally to the Chief Talent Office, forming part of the Talent Management (TM) Leadership team.
The Talent Management COE designs and governs Talent processes to define and drive the overall integrated talent experience.
Your Responsibilities
As the Talent Management Partner for UKIE Key Market (GBU)/Global Function (GF), you will be a key advisor on all aspects of Talent Management to support the business. This includes operationalizing the global talent strategy in your key markets, ensuring a diverse pipeline for Cross Moves, and serving as a thought leader to senior leadership and PBP for all matters related to Talent Management.
Talent Advisor: Serve as a key advisor for Sr. Leaders, the Country Council, and P&C on talent management to create and develop solutions ensuring a robust leadership pipeline.
Talent Density: Partner with the business and P&C to identify key capability areas, build a comprehensive talent approach, and strong talent pools (internally and externally) to attract and retain top talent. Engage key talent and serve as a career advisor to support their development.
Potential for Growth and Succession Pipeline: Support the Potential for Growth Talent Cycle by ensuring strong engagement with the business and P&C community. Build leaders' capability around assessment of potential and development plans.
Talent Exchange: Participate in talent forums with peers in the Talent community to raise visibility on opportunities within the GBU/GF and provide exposure for key talents. Partner with P&C BP and business to encourage and promote bold and cross moves.
DEI: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to create strong diverse succession slates, and develop metrics to track and measure progress.
Capability Planning: In partnership with Organization Development, Capability & Transformation (OC&T), identify key skills and capabilities needed for specific GBU/GF talent pools.
Talent Intelligence: Use a data-driven approach with HR analytics to track key talent metrics and provide insights for decision-making. Present findings to senior leadership and recommend adjustments to talent management strategies as needed.
Proactive Leadership Pipeline Development and Talent Pools: Work closely with TA, PBPs, P&C Director, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between talent management initiatives and business objectives. Provide guidance and support to local TM teams to ensure consistency across global operations.
Voice of Business: Represent UK/IE business needs to the larger Global Talent Management agenda to ensure that frameworks and tools are built with the business in mind.
Identification of Talent for Nominated Programs: Support accelerated development.
About You
Proven experience in progressive talent management, ideally working in a large global organisation.Strong knowledge of global talent trends, industry best practicesExperience in developing and executing global talent management strategies, including talent pipelines, succession planning, diversity, and executive talent management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels in an international matrix environment.Strong business acumen and a pragmatic approach to solving complex talent challenges.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.Strong analytical skills and experience with HR analytics tools to inform data-driven decision-making.Pharmaceutical industry experience is desirable but not essential.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Fluent in English.Ability to travel internationally as required.Why Should You Consider This Role?
