Talent & Organizational Development Manager

The Talent & Organizational Development Manager is a strategic role focused on supporting the company's talent and organizational development initiatives. This individual will collaborate with leaders and teams across the organization to identify talent development needs, design impactful learning experiences, and implement organizational change initiatives that drive business success. This role is critical in ensuring that our people have the tools, skills, and resources to reach their full potential, align with business objectives, and support long-term growth. We are looking for someone who can drive strategy and vision, while also jumping in and executing down to the last detail. The individual who comes into this role should be excited about the opportunity to have a big impact in a short amount of time!

Location: San Diego, CA/Hybrid

Salary Range: $120,000-130,000.00

Essential Functions:
Learning & Talent Development:
•    Collaborate with peers and senior leaders to identify training needs and develop tailored learning solutions across a variety of topics – these will span from technical systems training, to onboarding, to Underwriting 101, to Manager & Leadership Development programs, and more
•    Facilitate and deliver learning programs in partnership with HRBPs, both virtually and in-person
•    Lead the development and implementation of best in class learning experiences from strategy through value delivery
•    Define metrics/KPIs to demonstrate the impact of Talent & OD initiatives
•    Make recommendations for continuous improvement
•    Ensure that industry leading practices are incorporated into learning programs
•    Define and manage the strategy for use of future learning technologies
•    Develop & maintain ecosystem partnerships with vendors to advance DUAL’s people development goals
•    Administer learning schedules, calendars, and maintain participant records during training as needed 
•    Partner with Compliance team to support compliance training if/when necessary
Organizational Development:
•    Establish a Change Management framework
•    Lead change management initiatives for strategic business priorities to drive organizational transformation and continuous improvement; changes could vary between technical systems changes, organizational re-structuring, key HR changes, and more 
•    Drive employee engagement initiatives, measuring and tracking success through surveys, focus groups, and feedback mechanisms
•    Support other Employee Engagement & HR initiatives as needed – we are a small team and often work cross-functionally! 


Job Requirements (education, experience, skills): 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Communications, Organizational Development, Business or another related degree
•    Minimum of 5+ years in a Learning & Development role, including instructional design, curriculum development, implementation, and learning program evaluation; experience leading Manager & Leadership Development programs preferable 
•    Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Change Management, Comms and/or Organizational Development experience required
•    Project Management experience preferred
•    Ability to navigate ambiguity and build programs from scratch
•    Self-motivated, organized, and excited to have a positive impact
