Summary
As a Talent Partner, you will work with the regional HR Leads and Talent team to proactively recruit talent into the organization and to develop and improve talent retention practices. You will act as a strategic recruiting business partner while balancing those responsibilities with various transactional HR duties such as the entry and tracking of tasks in the Workday, Phenom CRM, filing of electronic documents in personnel files, and coordination with payroll (Talent Coordinator). You will be responsible for creating a talent pipeline by contacting candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, and phone and email campaigns, and you will help make introductions between candidates, HR, and management. You will also help develop and implement programs to support employee engagement and retention.
Responsibilities
Establish talent pipeline for key service positions in each of the five departmentsDevelop professional relationships with industry groups, local universities and civic organizations for candidate sourcing, internship partnership, and diversity outreach. Could Include coordinate/plan Internship program and attend networking events in the region Utilize LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, and other online resources to identify candidates for talent pipelineUtilize LinkedIn and other social media formats to build HUB Three Rivers talent brandConduct call and email talent sourcing campaigns regularly to create warm leads with candidatesMake introductions between candidates, HR, and management by scheduling calls, interviews, or meetings. Scheduling follow up calls with candidates.Work with HR Manager/Director Hiring Mgr to discuss compatibility of pipeline candidates for open positionsConduct/facilitate intake callsCreate and maintain/edit reqs in Workday (Talent Coordinator)Manage candidate profiles in WD/CRMTalent SME for functional areaCommunicate with stakeholder status updates.Serve as point person for onboarding of new hires (TA Coordinator)Coordinate with hiring managers on a detailed onboarding plan for each new hire(First Day-TA Coordinator))Oversee first 90 days of new hire experience, including 90-day checklist and mentor/buddy program. There is no mentor/buddy program in THRConduct orientation meetings for all new hiresConduct 90-day review meetings with all new hiresTrain new hires on Development Plans, overseeing employees’ completion of themCoordinate with managers on cadence of regular 1 on 1 meetings with employees. I do not partake in coordinating regular 1 on 1 meetings with employees and their managers. All 1 on 1 meetings all scheduled when it is deemed appropriate from the manager. Support HR Manager/Director with regional employee recognition program(s)Oversee staffing, compensation, and other employee-related changes in our HRIS system Workday. And employee relations tasksPerform other related duties as necessaryQualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 1-2 years of previous direct sourcing experienceExceptional communication & organizational skills, follow up skills, and attention to detailProficiency in MS OfficeTechnical proficiency, comfortable navigating new software and websitesStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong ability to build relationships, especially with senior leadershipHigh attention to detailAbility to juggle multiple projects/priorities with different deadlinesAbility to work with remote locationsInsurance industry experience preferred, but not requiredRecruiting industry experience preferred, but not required.
