Datadog is seeking a Talent Planning Manager to shape how we grow and develop our global workforce. You will bring talent intelligence to our planning processes, allowing us to make informed decisions on how best to grow our people and when to go to market. This is a new role, reporting to the Director of Talent Management.

What You’ll Do: Talent Planning: Forecast Workforce Needs: Develop accurate staffing forecasts by analyzing key organizational dynamics, including hiring trends, attrition, internal mobility, and promotions. Collaborate Across Teams: Serve as the central link between FP&A, People Business Partners (PBPs), and Recruiting teams to ensure alignment on headcount planning and workforce strategies. Enhance Data Infrastructure: Design and maintain robust data structures to support accurate headcount reporting and forecasting across all of our systems, with particular focus on position management in Workday. Provide Expertise: Partner with teams across Learning, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Campus Programs to identify and address skill or capability gaps through targeted initiatives.Talent Intelligence:
Conduct Market Research: Identify emerging talent trends, and integrate insights into business strategies to drive competitive advantage. Inform Decision Making: Partner with senior business leaders to design and optimize organizational structures and roles, based on market data. Develop Internal Reporting: Work with our Analytics team to build dashboards, incorporating internal and external data sources. Who You Are: 8+ years of work experience with 4+ years focused on workforce planning and talent intelligence. Strong analytical and business writing skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights. Proficiency in Sheets or Tableau (data manipulation, pivot tables, charts). Proven experience advising senior leaders and driving strategic initiatives that improve organizational performance and alignment. Knowledge of staffing models, notably Position Management in Workday. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the tech industry, particularly with large-scale global organizational design and transformation initiatives. Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders. Experience working with external data providers (Lightcast, Talent Neuron, Draup, Revelio Labs) to drive insights into organizational planning.Benefits and Growth:

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
