Job DescriptionPosition Purpose:
Responsible for providing guidance in the scheduling and transferring of hazardous waste to include sampling outbound bulk/liquid tankers/rail cars and routing of hazardous waste to appropriate destination facility. Onsite tasks to include storage, pumping, transferring, and bulking of hazardous waste in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure that the end product meets the specifications for disposal in an efficient and effective
manner.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
Direct sampling of outbound tankers and send samples to the laboratory as needed.Completion of required shipping papers for outbound shipments of hazardous waste.Coordinate emergency response efforts in conjunction with customers’ resources.Provide support to other onsite hazardous waste disposal activities.Assure customer satisfaction through frequent interaction and feedback.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation / Experience / Background:
High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) requiredPrior work experience of 2 to 4 years in a related position preferredKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong team playerStrong customer service orientationRequired Certification / Licenses / Training:
