This position provides support for the Manager of Engineering, Tank Integrity.  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, managing tank seal inspections, managing in-service API 653 inspections, managing a program to set tank levels of concern, responding to regulatory audits, and supporting tank repairs and construction managed by others. Other activities may include developing or revising internal procedures, specifications, and standards related to above-ground storage tanks, confirming compliance with regular requirements for inspection, drawing review, failure analysis, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of API 650, API 653, API 2350, and related standards. The individual should exhibit professionalism, tact, and strong interpersonal skills while collaborating with individuals of varying backgrounds and expertise. They should possess project management skills used in developing basic project documents such as project scope, schedule, budget forecasting, and cost tracking/analysis. The candidate must be capable of communicating this information using well-developed written and verbal skills. It is expected that the candidate is or will become familiar in other aspects of liquid facility operations and management to include, but not limited to: pumps; valves; cathodic protection; corrosion control; coatings and linings; liquid measurement; product quality; and fire protection.


Daily activities may include:
