THE JOB:

As a Cocktail Server at TAP Sportsbar, you will play a crucial role in enhancing guest experiences through exceptional service and a friendly demeanor. By engaging with guests and understanding their individual preferences, you will craft unforgettable moments that will leave a lasting impression, ensuring they carry fond memories of their time with us long after they leave.

STARTING PAY: $8.75 per hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Take order, and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicablePlace order, and garnish and serve cocktails to guestsMaintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections availableKnowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyPerform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment to include fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficienciesResolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Knowledge of beverages on menu, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishesHighly motivated and energetic personalityAble to take initiative and exhibit flexibilityExcellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contactsCan work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
