THE JOB:

As a food Server at TAP restaurant, you'll be the crucial link between our sports-loving guests and their dining experience, taking and delivering orders with a friendly demeanor while ensuring tables are tidy and guest satisfaction remains high. Your role involves not just efficient service but also performing essential side work and maintaining cleanliness at your assigned stations, creating a welcoming environment that enhances the excitement of every game day. Join us in delivering great food, drinks, and an unforgettable atmosphere for fans to enjoy!

STARTING RATE: $8.10 per hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcomeKnowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beveragesMaintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approachItemize bills correctly and efficiently secure paymentMaintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stationsAnticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgencyCommunicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Knowledgeable of menu items, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishesKnowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulationsKnowledgeable of computers and Point of Sale (POS) systemsAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
