Temp-to-Hire position$17.00 /hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 04:00pm to 02:00am)Operate the leg-clutch to start and stop the sewing machine efficiently.Use the tape-edge machine to close mattresses in line with established work instructions, including Hot Melt Bond units, foam-encased pocketed coil units, and open coil units with specified upholstered layers.Feed materials into the sewing machine while moving it around the mattress. Re-thread the sewing machine as necessary.Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards throughout the production process.Tape Edge Machinest Qualifications:
2-3 years experience in industrial sewingAbility to stand for extended periods while operating the machine.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle materials efficiently.Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy materials and mattressesApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
