The Tapioca Agribusiness Senior Manager is responsible for leading Agribusiness function of Ingredion Thailand to drive business impact. The role covers all aspects of Agribusiness including root sourcing, sustainability, and raw material development. The job holder will set the agenda and drive business impact in Agribusiness strategy while working with country management teams to ensure programs are in place to deliver world class performance.

Core Responsibilities:

Define and execute Agribusiness strategy and programs to deliver business impactLead team to establish and execute strategic action plans over waxy cassava development, root sourcing and sustainabilityDrive root sourcing team to effectively manage continuity, quality and cost-effective of tapioca supply.  Work collaboratively with peers and colleagues as a team to support business growth and stability, and competitive advantages of Ingredion.Drive Agronomist team to effectively execute planned growth of waxy cassava development and supply.  Work closely with Steering committee and global team to support demand growth of waxy cassava-based products.Drive Agricultural Sustainability agenda within Agribusiness team and farmer/vendor networks.  Qualify farmers as sustainable sources of supply as per company plan.Drive digital transformation or relevant innovation, create and execute initiatives that enhances efficiency and effectiveness of Agribusiness operations, enhances stability and competitiveness of Ingredion in global tapioca franchise.Represent Ingredion Thailand and ASEAN in all agricultural and agribusiness aspects.Build and maintain relationship with key authorities and stakeholders.  Keep track on development of the industry, and update Ingredion management regularly on potential issues and ongoing development.  Propose corrective and supportive plan accordingly.Manage to participate in key forum and meetings, and influence the policies that resolve obstacles, and that support the stability and competitiveness of Thai tapioca industry in short and long terms.

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements:

Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in Agribusiness, with at least 5 years in management level.Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree, preferably in Agriculture-related fields.Experience in multinational company environment, with high levels of Agribusiness performanceProven record of working closely with senior leadership teams to set and deliver an impactful Agribusiness strategy and programsFluent in written and spoken English
