TAR Expeditor

Airswift is looking for a Turnaround Expeditor to work a outage in the Freeport, TX area.
Summary
Expeditor would validate material receipt, confirm kitting and storage for Outage. Expeditor would provide oversight and direction to the Outage contractors material support. Expeditor would be responsible for management of the bulk materials trailer and site Tool trailer if supplied by the client. The expeditor will need a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in this arena and meet the normal requirements for a field construction site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate with Suppliers on procurement and turnaround needs Coordinate with buyers, materials management and planning personnel to resolve delivery and material questions Contact vendors, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates Expedite long lead and past due materials Ensure all material and service suppliers have confirmed POs Establish and maintain files and agreements Coordinate with other members of Procurement and Turnaround teams Manage expediting and other report updatesREQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to identify Mechanical components and Kit per WO call out Document management skills Effective Communication Skills (both verbal and written) Self-motivated and creative in getting results while overcoming obstacles Good interpersonal skills to get cooperation from suppliers, customers, and peers Detail-oriented to identify inconsistencies and suggest corrections Use of MS office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)PREFERRED SKILLS:
Working knowledge of procurement environment Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Working Knowledge of SAP and purchasing processes
