**Position Title:** Tariff Administrator I, II, or Sr

**Position Purpose:**
This position assists with the calculation of BEPC’s Annual Transmission Revenue Requirement (ATRR) across multiple Open Access Transmission Tariffs (OATTs). The incumbent will acquire, assimilate, and integrate knowledge to assist with the analysis of transmission rate calculations within the FERC transmission rates of other transmission owners and provide input into the determination of transmission cost and revenue components on budget preparation and financial forecasts. **This position is identified as a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) related position, which may allow physical and/or logical access to Bulk Electric System (BES) cyber related assets or systems.**
**Essential Duties:**
+ Use acquired knowledge of transmission rate justification to apply it to calculations for the various Open Access Transmission Tariffs (OATTs) (e.g., Southwest Power Pool (SPP), the Common Use System (CUS), and the Basin Electric Westside (BEPW)) in accordance with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) orders.
+ Assist with determining the annual costs of transmission facilities and facilities providing ancillary services; review costs and revenues associated with transmission tariff billings.
+ Assist with the analysis of transmission rate assessment of SPP to determine cost impacts to BEPC.
+ Contribute to the analysis of transmission rate calculations within the FERC transmission rate of other transmission owners to determine cost impacts to BEPC.
+ Assist with calculating the annual costs of BEPC transmission facilities and facilities providing ancillary services; review costs and revenues including installed costs, depreciation, interest, O&M, A&G, taxes, a return on equity on BEPC’s electric system, and credits for BEPC and third-party usage.
+ Assist with rate of return and cash flow/rate base calculations for transmission rate analyses.
+ Assist with calculations of the budget and long-range financial forecast for transmission rates and headquarters’ transmission expenses and revenues. Coordinate with other transmission rates staff.
+ Monitor monthly and annual costs, revenues, and billings associated with the SPP Tariff for the Upper Missouri Zone (UMZ); SPP regionally cost-shared transmission facilities; and the CUS tariff.
**Qualifications** **:**
**Tariff Administrator I:**
+ Four-year degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
**Tariff Administrator II:**
+ Four-year degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; and
+ Four years of related accounting or finance experience.
**Tariff Administrator Sr:**
+ Four-year degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; and
+ Eight years of related accounting or finance experience.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of FERC open access transmission tariff related orders.
**Other Requirements:**
+ Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), business processes and/or engineering economics.
+ Knowledge of accounting policies and practices and budgeting concepts.
+ Understanding of government regulatory requirements related to tariffs.
+ Good communication and collaboration skills.
+ Proficient in personal computer operation and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
+ Resume required.

**Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands:**
This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position and to move about the office building, occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, constant use of keyboard/computer and other office productivity machinery, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger dexterity and hand coordination. This position requires the ability to communicate and must be able to clearly exchange accurate information. It also requires the ability to develop plans, procedures and goals; present information to others; and work under stress to complete projects within deadlines. Occasional travel to and from plant sites is required.
