Performs a full range of tax activities for an assigned organization, in order to optimize the Tax position of assigned unit.The position will be based out of one of the Siemens Healthineers’ US office locations in Malvern, Pennsylvania under a hybrid work schedule. You will be an individual contributor with the flexibility to work remotely, as well as in the office for meetings or collaboration time. Travel may also be required (about 5% of the time).
Your Role:
Assist with all US domestic and some international income tax matters, including data gathering and ensuring company compliance with tax reporting and filing requirements.
Prepare and submit income tax provisions.
Prepare and analyze general ledger tax account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation and/or review of federal, state, and local income/franchise tax returns, including quarterly estimated tax payments.
You will assist with projects to streamline the various compliance processes and you will have the opportunity to create efficiencies through automation.
Your Expertise:
3-5 years public accounting experience or 3-5 years large corporation experience.
Knowledge of Corporate Income Taxation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with Corptax, and various tax law research software.
Experience and familiarity with SAP, Power BI, and Alteryx a plus.
Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Master’s degree in accounting a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Corporate Income Tax Department or nationally recognized accounting firm.
The ability to work under tight timelines and the capability to make decisions quickly and with accuracy.
Must be able to prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team.
Written and verbal communication skills to communicate and present tax accounting and compliance matters.
