**Responsibilities**
+ Support the Medalliance consolidated group global income tax filings
+ Assist with indirect tax compliance for all Cordis entities in the EMEA Region
+ Monitor Company’s withholding tax obligations in EMEA and manage compliance process
+ Responsibility for accurate filing of tax related declarations across Europe (VIES, Intrastats, Form 46G, DAS 2, Form 56, etc.)
+ Prepare monthly tax reconciliations of Income Tax, VAT and WHT accounts for EMEA entities
+ Assist with estimated Income Tax Payment calculations
+ Support tax audits across all tax heads in EMEA, including gathering information, responding to audit requests, tax research and assisting in preparing appeals
+ Manage the PO and billing processes for all EMEA entities
+ Support the global and regional annual financial statement audits surrounding VAT and withholding tax accounts
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls requirements
+ Work on special projects as directed, including coordination/collection of information
+ Create and maintain excellent relationships with key colleagues across all areas of Cordis
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with external consultants on tax matters
+ Willingness to expand into other areas within the Tax Department, if needed
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
+ CPA/CTA or equivalent Preferred
+ Certificate in VAT Preferred
+ Medical Device Industry Experience Preferred
+ Proficiency in English
+ Excellent research and writing skills
+ Excellent presentation and communication skills
+ Team player who is comfortable working autonomously
