Tax Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various tax-related tasks and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

ResponsibilitiesHandle incoming correspondence from taxing authorities and ensure timely responses.Conduct thorough research on taxability based on specific situational issues that arise.Collaborate with Avalara to address monthly sales and use tax needs and questions.Prepare and submit quarterly revenue reports to various states.Work closely with the team to manage fuel tax reporting requirements.Oversee property tax reporting across multiple locations.Essential SkillsProven experience in tax compliance or a similar role (2+ years).Strong analytical and research skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficiency with tax software, particularly Avalara, is a plus.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience with indirect tax, sales & use tax, and tax accounting.Proficiency in Excel.Work Environment

Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. The company is fast-growing, acquiring other companies, and expecting more growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
