Job Title: Tax Analyst

Job Description

As a Tax Analyst, you will work remotely on amended federal payroll tax returns, focusing on catching up on backlogs and preparing for a system implementation.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare amended federal payroll tax returns.Work on catching up with backlogged tax returns.Assist in preparation for the implementation.Analyze and research data to determine variance.Work independently and manage tasks efficiently.Essential Skills3-4 years of experience working on and preparing federal payroll tax returns.Experience with preparing amended payroll tax returns (94-1X).Proficiency with PeopleSoft, Workday, and ADP preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is ideal, but candidates with a high school diploma and substantial experience will be considered.Must be reliable, dependable, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Work Environment

This is a remote position open to candidates in any state, with no requirement to align with East Coast hours. You will have the opportunity to work for a large organization, providing a platform to establish your name in the field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $32.00/hr.
