An amazing number, but we’re always looking for new ways to continue making a difference, and new people to make a difference with. **The opportunity** The Tax Analyst I will be responsible for supporting the daily functions of the tax department including preparing US income tax filings, accounting for income taxes, and supporting federal and state audits. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Tax and is based in Parsippany, NJ. **How you’ll spend your day** + Preparation of U.S. federal and state tax returns and supporting workpapers. + Assist in the preparation of the computation of the US quarterly tax provision in accordance with ASC-740. + Prepare income tax accounting journal entries and account reconciliations. + Assist with the timely preparation, filing and payments of income and franchise tax obligations, including extensions and estimated payments. + Support IRS and state income tax audits, as necessary. + Obtain general knowledge of and understand primary Teva tax accounting methodologies. + Interface with various levels within the tax, accounting, and finance department and external advisors. **Your experience and qualifications** + Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required. Masters in Tax or Accounting and/or CPA a plus. + 1-2 years of tax compliance and/or accounting experience in a large, multi-national company or accounting firm environment preferred. **Competencies** + Ability to work independently in fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work effectively in a team setting. + Proficient in using Microsoft Excel. + Some experience with Alteryx or Automation Anywhere softwares a plus. + Basic knowledge of income tax compliance process a plus. + Basic knowledge of ASC-740 tax accounting principles a plus. **Enjoy a more rewarding choice** We offer a competitive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage starting on the first day.
