\nOur Finance team serves as a critical partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, and tax.
\nWhat will I be doing?
\nAs Tax Analyst you would manage all operational tax duties of our Mexico and Caribbean Managed hotels in the continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain accurate control environments. Specifically, you would perform the following duties:
\n\nCalculate monthly Federal operational taxes\nCalculate monthly State operational taxes\nMexican tax filing\nAccounting records ensuring tax transactions are recorded in Hotels’ financial systems\nEnsure revenue reconciliations are accurate\nCalculate local and foreign tax withholdings\nElectronic invoicing controls\nTax accounts reconciliations\nReporting to Tax Supervisor\nWhat are we looking for?
\nTo successfully fill this position, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
\n\nSense of organization and planning\nTeamwork\nGood interpersonal relationship\nGood knowledge in computer science, including Excel.\n\nTo fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
\n\n6 months minimum of related experience, including internships (Example: Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax)\nWork a hybrid office schedule based in our office in Mexico City, Mexico a minimum of 3 days per week.\nYou are proficient in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)\n\nIt would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
