Responsibilities * Process tax and insurance payments + Prepare tax, insurance, and reserve for replacement analysis reports + Assist in reconciliation of tax and insurance clearing account + Update and provide Asset Mgt Department with list of outstanding project T&I bills + Maintain T&I tickler report + Verify bank transactions to source documents + Review bank statements and promptly follow-up on outstanding items + Review transaction postings to the General Ledger from EBS + Prepare annual 1099 tax filing reports + Perform other duties as necessary Experience + Bachelor's degree in Accounting + Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles + Approximately 2-4 years of related progressive experience (gov't or non-profit a plus). + Demonstrated ability to manage accounting functions + Understanding of financial securities and investments, including mortgages, municipal bond financing, tax & insurance function, escrow accounts + Successful candidate must demonstrate ability to , multi-task, prioritize, have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently + Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office) + Experience using tier 1 ERP a plus Datrose is an equal opportunity employer.
