Essential Functions:

Processes a variety of documentation associated with department/division operations, within designated timeframes and per established procedures; receives, reviews, completes, processes, forwards or relations a variety of documentation as appropriate; prepares or completes various forms, reports, correspondence, and other documentation; compiles data for further processing or for use in preparation of department reports; and maintains computerized and/or hardcopy records.
Performs data entry functions by keying data into computer systems; enters, retrieves, reviews or modifies data in computer database; verifies accuracy of data and makes corrections as needed; and generates related reports.
Provides clerical support to the division and the department; runs reports; prints, files and audits notices and agendas; prints map changes; batches, reads, keys and assembles appeal packets for appraisers; and prepares other documentation as needed.
Performs customer service functions; provides general assistance and information related to departmental procedures, services, fees, forms, or other issues; responds to routine questions, complaints, or requests for service; and initiates problem resolution.
Performs general office duties; sorts and directs mail; photocopies, faxes, scans, files and emails correspondence; records documents; and provides assistance to managers.
Maintains inventory of office supplies and equipment; organizes supplies; initiates request for new and replacement supplies as needed; performs routine maintenance on office equipment such as changing toner, releasing paper jams, etc.; and reports equipment in need of repairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; two years of clerical experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s
license.
