Tax Associate (79293-4)
Bilingual E/J( Read and Write)

Qualifications include:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

o Master’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation highly preferred

· Current/Active CPA license required

· 5 years of experience in public tax and accounting

· Broad-based tax experience with excellent research skills

· Ability to delegate work as needed

· Strong supervisory and technical skills, as well as interpersonal and communication skills are essential

· Capable of effectively developing and maintaining client relationships

· Capacity to work well in a team environment and demonstrate leadership skills

Responsibilities include:

· Prepare and review complex tax returns, including multi-state returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates, trusts, and gift taxes

· Tax Planning and projections for businesses and individuals


· Review of year end closings prepared by staff

· Tax compliance review and technical research

· Analyze the scope of each engagement to manage schedules, budgets, and deadlines

· Direct interaction with partners

· Monitor compliance with due dates and within time budgets

· Participate in assigning duties and training staff

· Mentor and coach staff members in their development

· Supervise numerous engagements simultaneously

· Supervision of Senior/Staff/Associate Accountants including coaching and mentoring

· Direct client contact
