Tax Co-op
WHAT YOU'LL DO
​​Student will be required to perform various tasks within the tax department including, but not limited to, assistance with preparation of US and State corporate income tax returns, analysis, and documentation of tax general ledger accounts, gather information for and prepare monthly sales & use tax, goods and services tax returns, property tax filings, annual reports, business license applications and assist with support for both domestic and international tax audits. In addition, there are a variety of on-going projects, often working with other teams within finance both in the US and Foreign offices, that will require support. Student will be trained on and use Oracle general ledger system, CorpTax tax preparation software and maintain Trello Calendar​

​​Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

​Good communication and interpersonal skills

​Strong organizational and time management skills, able to multi-task​


YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2025 co-op cycle

​​Understanding of accounting principles

​Proficient in Excel, Word and overall general computer skills​


YOU'LL WORK WITH
​​This position gives students a chance to gain insight into the many functions of a global tax team while focusing on areas of accounting, modeling and analysis, general ledgers and tax preparation and documentation. Student will work with the Tax Reporting and Analysis team and interact daily with the Global Treasury Group and North America Finance Team and periodically with various State and City Departments of Revenue/Taxation in addition to other BCG Global Finance functions on cross functional projects​
