Tax & Compliance Analyst - SUT
What You'll Do The Senior Analyst aims to exceed client expectations by delivering customer support and producing, accurate results. The Tax Compliance Analyst prepares and completes tax returns and reports related to federal, state, local, property, sales, and other tax liabilities while ensuring all required deadlines are met. You will report into the Manager - Tax & Compliance What Your Responsibilities Will Be Job Duties Client Management -You will manage clients' expectations and overall experience.You will serve as a point of contact for a select group of customers or jurisdictions. Tax Preparation and Filing -You will prepare and file multi-jurisdictional indirect tax returns.Troubleshoot, validate, and analyze transactional data.Handle exposure to medium and high-complexity jurisdictions. Reporting and Reconciliation -You will prepare month-end reports and reconciliations for customers.Manage workload to meet strict filing deadlines. Project and Issue Handling -Handle off-cycle projects and advanced customer support, including resolving issues related to returns knowledge.You will perform QA tasks related to sales and use tax content and form changes.Handle notices requiring advanced knowledge. Process Improvement and Collaboration - Identify ways to improve processes and technology to better serve customers. What You'll Need to be Successful Qualifications - 3+ years of related experience with tax or customer service. Understand of Indirect Taxation. (SUT - Sales & Use Tax) Proficient in basic math, including percentages Able to use different software applications and tools Knowledgeable in Excel (can perform complex functions), Word, and Outlook, Experience using Salesforce Ready for Night/evening shifts - 6.00 pm to 3.00 am #LI-Onsite - Pune - Work from Office 5 days a week.
