PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for the timely and accurate review of customer sales tax exemption certificates. Work directly with customers or internal business partners to remediate any missing information required.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Review customer exemption certificates for completeness and accuracy Work with customers or internal partners to remediate any certificate deficiency Apply appropriate exemption to customer account Continuous learner who routinely shares experiences, best practices and information with team members to improve collective knowledge   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE   BA/BS in Accounting or Related Field equivalent preferred. Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred. Previous customer service experience. Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with team members, internal partners and external partners in a professional manner in person, via e-mail and phone. Moderate/Advanced time management skills and organizational abilities with attention to detail. Demonstrates strong attention to detail, and accuracy and thoroughness in work. Self-starter/motivator that demonstrates strong work ethic. Is aware of own strengths and weaknesses. Is open to development feedback and takes responsibility for personal development.
