Job Summary:
The Tax Experienced Senior, Non-Profit will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day preparation and gathering of information for client tax returns. This position is also responsible for basic tax research and the ability to interact and assist with client needs. The Tax Experienced Senior, Non-Profit may also be charged with supervising and reviewing the work of Core Tax Services Associates working on nonprofit client engagements.

Supervises the day-to-day work assignments of Core Tax Services Associates Provides verbal and written performance feedback to Core Tax Services Associates, as necessary Acts as mentor to Core Tax Services Associates
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, requiredExperience:
Four (4) or more years of public accounting tax experience, required Experience with tax return preparation, requiredLicense/Certifications:
CPA, preferredSoftware:
Proficient with MS Excel and Word and Adobe, required Experience with tax software applications, required Experience with ProSystems and GoRS, preferredOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills Possesses foundational knowledge of basic accounting skills including trial balance and journal entries Understands financial statements and the underlying supporting work papers Ability to manage multiple projects under deadline with supervision Ability to communicate and interact with clients on a regular bases Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions as directed by members of the Tax team Takes the initiative when needed Seeks advice of appropriate superiors regarding issues, problems related to compliance Ability to effectively delegate work as needed Ability to train other team members Ability to work well in a team environmentIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
Colorado Range: $95,000 - $105,000
