We are seeking a Tax Experienced Staff member to join our tax advisory team. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in the tax field, a solid understanding of tax regulations, and a commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients. This role involves the preparation, analysis, and review of tax reports, as well as supporting tax planning and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Puerto Rico, US Federal and state individual and business tax returns.
• Represent clients before government agencies such as Hacienda and IRS.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.
• Team oriented.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English/Spanish)
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure during tax season.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• CPA License Preferred.
