The **Corporate Tax team** is essential to the success of UMB. This team works to increase shareholder value by minimizing the corporate tax burden and maintaining compliance with the tax laws. We are an “in-house” tax department that will utilize outside specialists when needed. We love tax, love problem solving, and take the time to learn and educate others. As the **Tax Information Reporting Analyst,** you will be responsible for working with business partners and other leaders to ensure compliance of U.S. tax information reporting and FATCA compliance program for the Company. **How you’ll spend your time:** + Review and validate tax forms (W,8, W-9), FATCA, and CRS certificates + Assist with re-solicitation of tax forms + Assist with tax reporting for annual information tax return process (e.g., 1099, 1042-S) + Research and respond to inquiries regarding Form W-8 validations and validation support systems which include TAINA tax form validation platform and IBM BAW W-8 workflow tool + Prepare training materials and various internal procedures + Remain current on tax information reporting issues **We’re excited to talk with you if:** + You possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax or Finance with 2 years relevant experience (i.e. 1099/1042-s, W-9, W-8, banking/payment operations) **OR** + You have any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background **Bonus Points if:** + You have experience in the financial service industry **Compensation Range:** Minimum: $51,480.00 - Maximum: $119,200.00 _The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
