Proficient in requirements discovery and analysis, application of abstraction, formulation of solution context, solution alternatives identification and assessment, technology selection, and architectural configuration.
Candidates need to have multiple years experience (8+) working with Active Directory and Windows servers and workstations in a large enterprise environment. Must have a detailed understanding of Active Directory Domains, OUs, and Group structures. Must have multiple years experience doing administration for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows 2008 and Window-7. Candidate should also have experience with Windows Patch Management and tools such as SMS and Altiris. Multiple years experience with working with and supporting Citrix is also desirable. Experience with security scanning and vulnerability tools such as E-Retina, Nessus, McAfee, and Symantec are also a plus. Experience working in a highly secure environment, such as the Department of Defense, is also desirable.
This position will be responsible for doing active directory and security re-architecting and “clean-up” work as well as general Windows/Network support and general Security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, patch updates, etc.
