This is a Summer 2025 internship. 

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated team member to join our tax department, where you will gain first-hand experience that comes with a career at a Fortune 500 company. As a Tax Intern, you will assist with a variety of projects, including: the preparation of tax returns, research, and assistance with the R&D tax credit. You will receive guidance and mentoring from our tax professionals and have an opportunity to expand your knowledge of taxation, deliver superior results to our stakeholders, and experience the Steel Dynamics culture.

Qualifications Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in AccountingGPA 3.0 or aboveStrong professional verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, team coordination, and the ability to work with all levels of management, clients and vendorsMust be self-driven and able to complete tasks without specific directionAbility to meet deadlinesStrong analytical skillsExperience in Microsoft Office is a must
