As a Tax Junior Specialist at BCG, you’ll have the exciting task of supporting both local and global functions. You will work closely with your team while taking over the flat-rate income tax pursuant to §§ 37b and 40 EStG for benefits in kind. Your tasks will include tax assessment, calculation, account assignment, and documentation for all internal and external events, individual benefits, and hospitality. You will serve as the contact person for all questions relating to benefits in kind and provide support in complying with tax regulations, including tax on earnings (income tax, corporate tax, trade tax, payroll tax, and VAT). You will also be in contact with tax authorities and work with various internal departments, such as corporate accounting, payroll, HR, and global functions. In this role, you will also be involved in payroll tax audits and external tax audits and can actively contribute to advancing and optimizing our internal processes.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or training as a tax clerk.You have already gained experience in finance topics, such as in financial accounting or in the field of German tax law.You are proficient in the MS Office package, especially Excel, and able to work efficiently with Windows 10.Good written and spoken English and excellent German language skills round out your profile.

As a Tax Junior Specialist, you’ll be part of the Finance Team, which includes more than 50 employees. Locally, you will work with six experienced colleagues spread across the Munich and Düsseldorf offices. The team’s collaboration is characterized by respect, acceptance, and mutual trust. You will report to the Finance Manager - Tax, who will be there for you during your orientation phase.
