Tax Legal SpecialistSummary of the Role
We are seeking an Indirect Tax and International Tax Specialist to support Amadeus subsidiaries worldwide with indirect tax advice, day-to-day tax issues, tax audits, and litigation procedures. This role also involves preparing monthly newsletters on tax developments, acting as a point of contact for indirect tax topics, and reviewing legislative sources. Additionally, the specialist will support international tax tasks for specific regions, providing advisory on international regulations and Double Tax Treaties.
Main Responsibilities
Indirect Tax Duties:
Support Amadeus Group Companies with tax audits, litigation, and day-to-day indirect tax topics.
Review and analyze tax legislation at national and international levels.
Provide tax advisory and support to various business units.
Prepare tax documentation requested by various clients’/suppliers’ jurisdictions.
International Tax Duties:
Support Amadeus Group in international tax topics for specific regions, providing advisory on day-to-day issues.
About the Ideal Candidate
University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Law, and a Master in Taxes (double degree is beneficial).
2-3 years of experience in an indirect tax department, preferably in a multinational firm environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote) and English (Spanish recommended; other languages are beneficial).
Extensive indirect tax knowledge and analytical skills.
Effective organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Team player with effective interpersonal skills and proactivity.
