Kforce's client, a reputable family-owned holding company in New York, NY, is looking for a full-time Tax Manager to join their tax team. Summary: As a Tax Manager, you will have the privilege of working in the nucleus of a multi-billion-dollar company, tackling complex and elaborate tax issues. You will have the opportunity to be surrounded by and be able to work with top consultants and legal counsel. This is a private office located in the heart of Rockefeller Center with a small and family-like environment. Key Responsibilities: * Tax Manager will assist with the preparation and review of U.S. federal, state, and local tax filings for S-Corporation, Partnerships, Fiduciary, and C-Corporations * Assist with the preparation and review of international tax forms and filings * Prepare Gift tax returns * Assist in research, documenting, and maintaining tax matrix of all tax filings * Provide support on tax examinations/audits initiated by various jurisdictions * As a Tax Manager, you will investigate and resolve tax notices received * Assist with the quarterly and year-end tax provision process, including calculating book/tax differences, analyzing effective tax rate, etc. * Be a liaison between the subsidiaries and headquarters * G/L State Tax Account Analysis Benefits: * 401(k) and Match, Medical, FSA, HRA, and Lunch, competitive salary, bonus, paid time off, and Life insurance
