Job Descriptions: Hersman Serles Almond (HSA) is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing accounting and consulting team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of tax operations, including the review and preparation of tax returns, providing strategic advice on complex tax issues, and managing a team of skilled tax professionals. For over 40 years, HSA has provided exceptional services to leading organizations and high-net-worth families throughout the Northwest. Last year, HSA merged with Coldstream, an employee-owned wealth management firm that offers personalized services to high-net-worth individuals and families. Coldstream was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Bellevue, with additional offices in Seattle, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Portland, Boise, and Kenai, AK. Our office operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and staff enjoy the flexibility of working remotely on Fridays. Responsibilities will include: + Review and prepare tax returns and provide guidance and technical advice on complex tax issues to high-net-worth individuals, families, and their businesses to help maximize tax efficiency. + Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax planning opportunities. + Lead and manage a team of staff tax professionals, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring high quality of work. + Conduct business development activities to attract new clients. + Support special projects, including tax research and analysis. Required Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field + CPA designation + 5+ years of experience in tax accounting, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and their businesses + Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws + Desire to grow professionally and attain Sr. Manager and Partner roles + Proven leadership abilities, including team management, task delegation, and providing feedback and guidance + Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to explain complex tax issues to clients and colleagues + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Keyword: Tax Manager From: Coldstream Wealth Management
