Description We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team located in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with managing a variety of tax-related duties, including preparing and reviewing multi-state tax returns, maintaining up-to-date records, and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. Given the nature of this role, you will be expected to be highly informative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities: • Handling the preparation and review of multi-state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. • Assisting with tax planning and strategy to provide comprehensive tax solutions to clients. • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of K1's and multi-state returns. • Ensuring clients meet all tax regulations and tax return deadlines. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive tax solutions. • Keeping up-to-date with current developments within the tax industry to ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws. • Using ProSystem FX Tax software proficiently for varied accounting functions. • Managing complex tax preparation and tax research tasks. • Handling sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Tax Manager role or similar capacity • Proficient in using CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software • Demonstrated expertise in executing all accounting functions • Experience in preparing and handling Annual Income Tax Provision • Strong background in conducting audits • Proven track record in ensuring compliance with tax regulations • Knowledgeable in Entity Formation procedures • Familiarity with the use of CCH Prosystem is a plus • Experience with CCH ProSystem fx - Tax Compliance is highly desired Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
