U.S. International Tax Compliance Focused
Location: This position requires on-site presence at Ericsson Headquarters in Plano, Texas, three days per week.

About this opportunity
The Tax Manager for the U.S. business will serve as a critical advisor and hands-on leader within one of Ericsson's largest entities. This role oversees U.S. International Tax Compliance, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, mitigating risks, and delivering high-quality tax accounting and reporting. The Tax Manager will also provide expert tax guidance, driving compliance excellence and supporting Ericsson’s strategic goals.
What you will do
Oversee tax compliance, accounting, and reporting for a multi-entity business, including U.S. International Tax Compliance, direct taxes, withholding tax, and BEAT.Provide expert U.S. tax advice for Mergers & Acquisitions projects and monitor legislative changes impacting direct and transfer pricing.Develop and implement tax strategies to enhance shareholder value and align with global policies.Advise on managing direct tax risks, ensuring compliance, and raising awareness of tax impacts among stakeholders.Manage end-of-month processes, annual financial audits, and compliance in reporting.Maintain transfer pricing policies, intercompany agreements, and drive automation initiatives to improve tax function efficiency.
What you will bring
6-8 years of experience in tax, with expertise in U.S. Tax Compliance and Federal & State Tax legislation.Proven experience supporting multi-entity global businesses, particularly in telecommunications.Strong background in Mergers & Acquisitions, Transfer Pricing, and related party international transactions.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA preferred.Advanced proficiency with corporate tax software and familiarity with IFRS and GAAP.Demonstrated ability to collaborate across complex organizations and communicate effectively at all levels.Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
