Job Description & Summary
A career in our Tax services will provide you with the opportunity to help a diverse portfolio of local and international clients navigate complex tax regulations, meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business.
As Tax Manager, you will be a vital member of the teams advising Bulgarian and multinational companies and investors on a variety of corporate tax and international tax matters, including by helping them in tax advisory, M&A, due diligence and reorganisation projects. You will have the opportunity to build and develop a network of clients and peers and lead a team of tax professionals, allowing you to grow in the organization.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Corporate Tax - advice clients on the tax implications of their business operations and provide tax advisory services with a problem-solving mindset;
M&A - help our clients across the deal cycle, including with deal structuring, tax due diligence and assistance around the deal execution and post-deal integration;
International Tax - help clients with international tax aspects of their cross-border transactions, double tax treaties, etc.;
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients;
Train, coach, and supervise teams;
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen;
Keep up to date with local and international tax developments and reforms.
What you must have:
A professional experience of around 5+ years in a tax advisory role (corporate taxation, international tax, due diligence projects);
Deep knowledge of Bulgarian and international tax law;
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or related disciplines;
Excellent command of written and oral English & Bulgarian;
Ability to operate in a multitasking environment;
Strong people skills, team-orientation, and a professional attitude
Excellent communication skills.
What Sets You Apart:

Knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to innovating through new and existing technologies and utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
