Tax Manager

Ping Identity is seeking a Tax Manager with a strong background in tax provision and tax compliance for a multinational consolidated group. The Tax Manager is a key member of the finance team reporting to the Senior Manager of Tax, helping manage Ping Identity’s tax compliance, planning, and accounting for income taxes. This role requires a deep understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, as well as the ability to manage complex tax projects. The Tax Manager will work with internal tax team members, external service providers, and other partners throughout the business.

You will:

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of U.S. federal, international, state, and local income and franchise tax returns, and other required tax filings in coordination with external providers.

• Assist in both preparation and review of the global income tax provision and related tax footnote disclosures, including analysis of uncertain tax positions, valuation allowance modeling, tax account reconciliations, purchase price accounting, permanent and temporary differences, discrete items and journal entries.

• Coordinate transfer pricing processes and documentation with support from external service providers.

• Manage external providers and ensure adherence to local foreign income tax laws, including review of estimated payments and foreign income tax returns.

• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.

• Partner with key internal stakeholders including Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Payroll, and others.

You have:

• Minimum 5-7 years of income tax provision and compliance experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

• CPA certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.

• A strong sense of ownership, initiative and a solutions-oriented mindset.

• Project management skills to meet tight deadlines and prioritize.

• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

You have an advantage if you have:

• International tax experience, including GILTI, BEAT, FDII, FTCs, etc.

• Mixture of public accounting and industry experience

• Experience with NetSuite

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax

USA: $113,980 to $133,000
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
