Robert Half has partnered with a Global Distribution company to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager located in Fort Worth, Texas. This role will primarily involve managing tax compliance and planning for the organization, with a particular focus on international tax regulations and global transfer pricing. Responsibilities:
• Take charge of the process for preparing accurate US foreign compliance reporting requirements, primarily through external consultants.
• Oversee the Tax Accountant positions in the US and India.
• Manage the organization's legal entity chart.
• Prepare foreign sections of quarterly tax report submitted to parent company, including jurisdictional effective tax rate reconciliations and list of legal entities.
• Lead or participate in foreign income tax research and special tax related projects as assigned.
• Review business licenses, unclaimed property reports, and property tax identifying action items needed for completion.
• Ensure adherence to global tax regulations and manage tax risk.
• Manage the organization's global transfer pricing efforts by identifying new transactions and participating in calls with global team members to understand the nature of the transactions.
• Monitor the progress of external consultants' filing of foreign returns.
• Assist with monthly closing including preparing monthly tax account reconciliation for foreign subsidiaries
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a tax-related role within a corporate environment
• Proficiency in managing Annual Income Tax Provision
• Demonstrated experience in Corporate Tax Compliance
• Ability to devise and implement Tax Planning Strategies
• Knowledge of Global Transfer Pricing
• Familiarity with Foreign Tax matters
• Expertise in U.S. International Tax
• Experience in managing International Tax Compliance
• Ability to effectively calculate and manage Effective Tax Rate
• Proficiency in dealing with Legal Entities
• Experience in managing Quarterly Taxes
• Knowledge of ASC 740
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification preferred.
