Tax Manager (International Tax)

We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels included, respected, empowered, and recognized. **What You Can Expect** The International Tax Manager assists the company in meeting its business objectives by advising on cross-border transactions, identifying opportunities for tax profile optimization, and informing the company of the consequences of developing International Tax legislation. The International Tax Manager is responsible for tax planning, ASC 740 reporting, and tax compliance related to the US Federal tax consequences of international transactions. The International Tax Manager reports to the International Tax Associate Director but works cross-functionally to achieve the described objectives. **How You'll Create Impact** _Planning_ + Works with internal stakeholders and external advisors to develop tax optimized structures for cross-border activities. + Acts as Project Manager for international restructuring transactions. Including coordination with internal and external project team members. + Ensures the impacts of all international restructurings are appropriately captured in the Provision and Compliance processes. + Researches developing US and International tax legislation to identify risks and opportunities. + Models the impacts to the effective tax rate of developing legislation and potential restructurings. _Provision_ + Reviews in detail the current and deferred tax impacts of key US International tax provisions including: GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, BEAT, and 163j on a quarterly basis. + Annually assesses the impact of current and deferred tax related to APB23. + Quarterly determines the impact of Pillar 2 on the tax provision. + Drafts memos supporting the conclusions related to the above items. _Compliance_ + Manages the delivery of requested information to external tax preparers for preparation of the international aspects of the US Federal Income Tax return (ex. Forms 1118, 8858, 5471, 8992, and related Disclosures) + Identifies opportunities for efficient use of tax attributes during preparation of the tax return. + Reviews calculations and forms prepared by external tax preparers. + Analyzes the source of difference between the tax return and the tax provision. **_This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and might not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act._** **What Makes You Stand Out** + Proactive, self-starter with demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple, competing priorities. Experience in US international taxation and the impacts of US tax reform, and Pillar 2. **Education/Experience** + Undergraduate degree in accounting, or legal studies is strongly preferred. Graduate-level degree or project management certification is preferred. + 5+ years of finance, accounting, and/or project management experience preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in International Tax + Prior Big 4 accounting or consulting experience is preferred. **Travel Expectations** + Up to 10% EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability Expected Compensation Range: $113,407 to $140k, plus target bonus
