The job function involves handling tax-related tasks for high net worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. The role requires diligent monitoring of tax laws and ensuring our company's tax compliance. There is a partnership opportunity in as soon as 3 years! Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough research on tax-related matters. • Undertake the preparation and review of tax returns for a variety of clients, including corporations, partnerships, and individuals with high net worth. • Recognize and execute opportunities to minimize effective tax rates. • Use Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services efficiently for various tasks. • Apply knowledge of Accounting Functions and Annual Income Tax Provision in daily tasks. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. • Advise on Entity Formation based on tax considerations. • Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx for tax processes and procedures. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a CPA firm or other related industry. • Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for financial management and reporting. • Familiarity with CCH Access or ProSystem Fx or similar tax software is required. • Ability to perform Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently. • Experience in preparing Annual Income Tax Provision. • Knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards in the finance industry. • Expertise in Entity Formation and its related legal and financial implications. • Must have a valid CPA license or equivalent professional qualification. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues. • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex tax issues. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Strong organizational skills to manage various tasks and meet deadlines. • Must be proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on industry trends and changes in tax laws. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
