ABOUT THIS ROLE

DXC is looking for an experienced Tax Manager who will be responsible for tax compliance activities for LATAM Countries, mainly Colombia and some other countries such as Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad and Tobago.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Perform tax compliance activities of Income Tax, WHT taxes, VAT, Municipal and Tax Reports, filing returns, and reporting obligations.

· Reconciliation of tax accounts and Deferred tax preparation
· Developing, implementing, and documenting tax compliance process improvements.
· assist with local tax audits and controversy matters.
· Review financial data for proper application of tax laws and transfer pricing.
· Develop and maintain knowledge of tax laws and current developments to identify potential impacts on the DXC business.
·Monitor industry positions relevant to DXC’s LATAM business operations.
· Follow up with tax law changes and implement new processes and strategies.

· Corporate reporting reports and follow-up.

· Manage a tax team in different countries & time zones.

 

 

WHO YOU ARE:
· 8+ years of tax experience with exposure to tax compliance in a multinational corporation and/or a Big 6 public accounting firm.
· Experience using computer software including SAP, Excel, Word, and online research software.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.

· Accounting degree. Technology industry sector
· Effective ability to manage across multiple geographies.
