Kforce's client, a National Management firm that has been in business for over 50 years, is expanding and looking for a Tax Manager with expertise in Sales and Use. This candidate must be located in the Tri-State Area. This role offers a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities: * Sales Tax Compliance: Ensure proper sales tax collection, reporting, and remittance across 325+ clients using various point-of-sale (POS) systems * Audit & Risk Mitigation: Identify and correct outdated tax rates, maintain compliance, and prepare for audits * Regulatory Research: Investigate tax liabilities, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with state and local business license filings * Process Improvement: Develop a database of jurisdictional tax requirements and standardize tax data across systems, including NetSuite * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the legal department and business unit controller to support tax-related filings and compliance efforts * Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex tax situations, implement solutions, and support compliance initiatives
