Our Global Tax Team provides support and advice for all tax processes for Baker Hughes. We ensure the accuracy of forecasting, Tax provision, quarterly and annual close and settlement. We oversee Tax compliance,  we work with reporting tools to provide information for Tax audits and ensure compliance with company and corporate policies.

You will interact with key business functions to provide advice and guidance for Tax related matters. You will be involved in fast-moving projects that deliver a value to our customers.
 

As a Tax Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:
 

Participating in wing-to-wing Tax reporting and accounting processes  to ensure forecasting, Tax provision, compliance and settlementAssisting with implementing improvements and enhancements that provide value to internal methods, procedures and processesCommunicating with colleagues to provide insight for data gathering and analysis to cross-functional teams and our businessCollaborating with cross-functional teams to provide support for Tax cycles, functions and quarterly reporting to ensure complianceWorking on ad-hoc special projects to deliver results to our business in a fast moving global-environmentGathering financial information from business units to assist with Tax and audit queries

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Have a Bachelor's degree with professional expertise in TaxDemonstrate solid experience of direct tax, tax processes and computation gained in a large or international companyHave good IT knowledge and be comfortable using software including, Excel, ERP and SAP systemsBe a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions in an ever-changing organisationShow excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and be able speak intermediate EnglishHave experience of preparing and delivering information for tax audit purposes
