The Partner will use their expertise in international taxation to provide compliance and consulting. The Tax Partner is responsible for applying industry specific knowledge to advise clients on the tax implications of their business objections, identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations while acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues. As a Tax Partner, it’s expected to actively participate in the marketing, networking and business development within an area of expertise and specialization while maintaining client relationships and acting as the primary contact for complex questions. Successful candidates will have deep and meaningful relationships within the local business community and a proven track record of developing new business.

Job Responsibilities

Business Development: Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding service offerings, and participating in marketing and networking efforts to attract and retain clients – especially in the New York market.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients in collaboration with federal tax partners, providing strategic guidance on international tax planning, compliance, and cross-border structuring to meet their global business objectives.

Technical Expertise: Develop and implement advanced international tax strategies, staying updated on global tax legislation, regulations, and treaties to advise multinational clients effectively.

Team Mentorship: Assisting with mentoring and developing a high-performing team of international tax professionals throughout the country, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure clients’ adherence to global tax compliance standards, manage tax risk, and proactively address changes in international tax regulations that may impact clients or the firm.

Thought Leadership: Represent the firm as a recognized expert in international tax by publishing thought leadership content, speaking at industry conferences, and participating in global tax forums.

Collaboration with Global Teams: Work closely with partners and teams across the firm's global network to deliver seamless cross-border tax services, leveraging
