As the Tax Practice Policy & Quality Managing Director, you’ll identify the impact of new tax developments and the opportunities that may relate to specialty areas – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. You’ll collaborate with tax professionals and SMEs to develop and deliver tax solutions because together is how we succeed. Your day-to-day may include:

Monitoring and analyzing new tax developments and legislative changes.Evaluating the impact of tax developments on clients' businesses.Conveying and interpreting tax developments to clients and internal tax professionals.Leading and collaborating with SMEs to develop and deliver tax solutions.Acting as a consultant on internal matters and engagements as needed.Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure understanding and compliance.Providing thought leadership and staying updated on industry trends and legislative changes.Motivate others to perform at maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality of the services deliveredWhether it’s your work location, weekly schedule or flex time off, we empower you with the options to work in the way that best serves your clients and your life.  Consistent with the firm’s hybrid work model, this position will require in-person attendance at least two days per week, either at a GT office or client site.Other duties as assigned

You have the following technical skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. Law or Master’s degree preferred.A minimum of 13 plus years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing clients at a national level.CPA or JD required. Prior experience in practice and team development is required.Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to travel as needed. Expect 30% travel.
